Stupid Fried is the creative moniker of Evan Ruby, a musician, producer, and engineer based in Detroit. His ethos is best portrayed through Feeds the Soul, a series of interconnected albums. While serving as audio engineer for The Dub Emporium, he supports newer artists with a careful attention to detail.

His compositions are often thematically built from giving musical context to everyday noise. Marinated in lush atmospheres and drizzled with expressive melodies, each plate comes with a healthy serving of sub bass. With funky, glitchy, jazz-infused stylings traversing across trip-hop, dubstep, drum & bass, downtempo, and more, he is an artist of many facets.
